EFS Electrolyte Drink Review

Look no further; EFS Electrolyte Drink is the one for you!

My first race this year will be New Orleans 70.3 on April 13th. As I stated in my past post, Nutritional Struggles: Knowledge is Power, I started working with 1st Endurance this year. I am absolutely amazed by the improvements I have made in the past three months. Each one of the products has enhanced my training performances AND recovery times.

I came to 1st Endurance with a history of G.I. distress. However, since I have been solely using their products I have seen an incredible change! As my main source of calories and electrolytes on the bike I will primarily use the EFS electrolyte drink. I plan on having 3 bottles on my bike each filled with 2 scoops of EFS. I will take a flask of Liquid Shot to sip on as needed throughout the bike, but, because of my past with stomach issues, I find taking my calories via liquid form (EFS Electrolyte Drink) is the best strategy for me.

EFS electrolyte drink has the highest electrolyte content per serving of any sports drink on the market. This makes it the most reliable sports drink to prevent cramping and maintain hydration. EFS, has the purist form of Amino Acid (AjiPure amino acids) enabling it to be absorbed quickly and efficiently. It also includes DiCalcium Malate and Dimagnesium Malate, sources of calcium and magnesium that have rapid absorption when compared to other mineral sources. Finally, EFS has 700mg of Malic Acid. Malic Acid is extremely important for the formation of ATP, by stimulating mitochondria uptake, enhancing mitochondrial respiration and allowing for more energy production. In times of low oxygen consumption, (what athletes experience during times of hard exertion) the aid of Malic Acid allows the body to still produce efficient amounts of ATP (the body’s energy source).

The EFS Electrolyte drink comes in four fantastic flavors: grape, orange, fruit punch and my favorite lemon lime. Check out 1st Endurance’s website for more information on the EFS Electrolyte Drink and their entire nutritional product line.

It taste impeccable, works incredible and is extremely convenient!

I give it my highest recommendation!
