Trek [Sponsor Announcement]

Sponsor Announcement

I am beyond EXCITED to announce my newest sponsor for 2014! Trek and Bontrager will be my bike and wheel sponsors. I absolutely love my new bike. I call her Tenacity and she is a dream ride.

Many top bike companies are determined to have the most aerodynamic bike on the market and some are willing to compromise comfort in the process. Trek has taken a different approach by primarily testing their bike aerodynamics on the actual road as opposed to only seeing what is happening in the wind tunnel. Trek also takes an ingenious approach by making their bike the most versatile to accommodate all cyclist of all shapes and sizes. The Speed Concept, has endless options for stacking and lowering the aero bars, widening or narrowing the elbow pad placements, varying crank length, etc. With Project 1, everything can be ordered to customization as well.

I am 5’2″ so it is difficult for me to find a bike that actually fits properly. I feel so incredibly blessed to have a sponsorship with Trek in 2014 because I know the power of what a bike that actually fits can have on training rides, power output, energy conservation, etc. All these play a vital role come race day, when every second counts!

If you find you are having a hard time fitting to your bike, I highly recommend checking out the Speed Concept 9 Series! I am extremely impressed with its fit and handling!

Plus, I absolutely LOVE Di2 Shifting. I have never had the luxury of electronic shifting on any of my other bikes but it is incredible! Now with the sheer convince of Di2 Shifting I find myself shifting twice as frequent in a typical ride.

I also want to thank Wheat Ridge Cyclery for all their help in fitting me and helping me get Tenacity! You are by far the best Bike Shop and I am so blessed to be sponsored by you as well!
